Nashua Center for the Arts April Construction Update
NASHUA CENTER FOR THE ARTS APRIL CONSTRUCTION UPDATE
Nashua Center for the Arts
OUTSIDE THE CENTER
In a recent photo showing the Center from the corner of Main and West Pearl, you can see where the outdoor deck is located on the front left side of the third floor. The next photo is a view from Main Street, showing the Main Street lobby staircase and the area at the far left that will be the Box Office window open to the street (next to Surf).
In the first of the above photos, you see the beginnings of the Main Street staircase; in the second, a view of the West Pearl staircase in a much more finished state. We think the West Pearl staircase is quite beautiful, with the windows and exposed brick from the Dunbarton building providing a contrast to the new stairs.
MORE ON THE INSIDE
Construction on the interior of the building continues at a rapid pace. Here you see part of the ducting that will carry the heating and air conditioning for the building. All the ducting and the ceilings will be painted black when construction is complete. In the photo below you are looking at a large opening in the roof over the stage area – it will be the location of the HVAC system on the roof of the Center.
