When the COVID-19 crisis first hit in March, we hoped, like many of you, that life would have returned to normal by now and we would be welcoming concert-goers back to shows at Lowell Memorial Auditorium, Cary Memorial Hall, Plymouth Memorial Hall and other venues across New England. Since that time, it has become clear that the days of hosting full-capacity crowds are still quite a ways off.
Despite an unprecedented interruption of business and continued uncertainty, we continue to keep quite busy, working hard every day to navigate our way to the other side of this crisis. Our core staff remains in place, hard at work. While the first few months of the shutdown were largely occupied by rescheduling shows and issuing refunds, we’ve now turned our attention to the future. We’re in regular communication with artist representatives, and have a number of confirmed shows for 2021 ready to announce once we receive more certainty on when we will be able safely produce live events again.
Additionally, we are hard at work improving and growing our business. We’re finding new venues and organizations to partner with. And while many of the initiatives we’re working on are “behind the scenes,” we’ve also got a number of exciting ideas to improve and enhance the audience experience. Look for more details coming this Fall!
In short – we’re going to be back doing shows again at some point, and when we return we’ll be bigger and better than before, presenting more shows in more venues than ever! We want to thank you, the fans of live entertainment, for being part of our audience and for your continued support. A vast majority of you have held on to your tickets for rescheduled performances, and many who have requested refunds have let us know you’ll be back and intend to repurchase tickets at a later date.
Once again, thank you for supporting live music and our venues. We look forward to the day when we can all gather together and enjoy live performances once again. Until then, stay safe, stay healthy, and keep an eye on our websites and social channels for information on upcoming performances and exciting announcements.
