PART-TIME HOUSE MANAGER – COLONIAL THEATRE, LACONIA

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and professional House Manager to join our team. This part-time hourly position requires availability for evening and weekend hours, based on the event schedule. The House Manager will oversee the event staff team and volunteers, ensuring an exceptional experience for patrons while maintaining a safe and welcoming environment during all performances and events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for patrons, event staff, volunteers, and production teams during events.
  • Manage event staff and volunteer teams to ensure clear communication and smooth operations.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing patron needs, resolving concerns, and delivering a high-quality experience.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all patrons and staff, including managing emergency procedures when necessary.
  • Work collaboratively with clients, national tours, and production staff to meet event requirements.
  • Maintain a professional and organized front-of-house environment, ensuring readiness for every event.
  • Monitor audience safety, accessibility, and comfort throughout performances.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team.
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and take swift action in emergency situations.
