An Evening with JJ Grey & Mofro

Advance GA $67 ($59 ticket + $8 service fee) Advance Premium $176 ($159 ticket + $17 service fee)Day Of GA $77 ($69 ticket + $8 service fee)Day Of Premium $186 ($169 ticket + $17 service fee)   WWW.JJGREY.COM From his early days playing cover music behind chicken wire at a west side Jacksonville juke joint while still working at a lumberyard, to playing sold-out shows at some of the largest venues and music festivals in the world, JJ Grey has always delivered his soul-honest truths. Since his first album, ‘Blackwater’, back in 2001, Grey has been releasing deeply moving, masterfully written, funkified rock and front porch Southern soul music. Now, with ‘Olustee’ – his tenth album and first in eight years, and the first he has self-produced – Grey is back, singing his personal stories with universal themes of redemption, rebirth, hard luck, and inner peace. With his music, Grey also celebrates good times with friends, oftentimes mixing the carnal with the cerebral in the very same song. Fueled by his vividly detailed, timeless original songs spun from his life experiences, Grey’s gritty baritone drips with honest passion and testifies with a preacher’s foot-pounding fervor. With ‘Olustee’, JJ Grey has once again pushed the boundaries of his own creative musical, lyrical and vocal talents, delivering an instant classic. Many of the songs are steeped in the mythical Southern stories of his ancestral Florida home and filled with people from JJ’s life. The songs are told through the eyes of a poet and sung with pure, unvarnished soul. Grey’s message is simple and strong – respect the natural world and always try to live in the moment. And never forget the importance of having a good time! Premium seats are low-to-the-ground chairs which we provide and are located in the first several rows for each show. Marc Roberge of O.A.R.

Tickets start at $79! Interested in buying 10+ tickets? Email or call Isabel Nichols (inichols@spectaclelive.com or 617-531-1257 x3)  As frontman for multi-platinum-selling alt-rock band O.A.R., Marc Roberge has performed for sold-out crowds at many of the world’s most iconic venues and helped to build a singularly devoted fanbase that spans the entire globe. With the band now on their tenth studio album (2022’s The Arcade), the New York City-based singer/songwriter/guitarist has also established a dynamic career as a solo artist over the past decade. In a departure from the unbridled energy of O.A.R.’s live show, Roberge’s solo tours find him taking the stage at more intimate theaters and delivering stripped-back renditions of O.A.R. fan favorites, along with a carefully curated selection of covers. Also rooted in his off-the-cuff and warmly candid conversations with the audience, the result is a prime showcase for Roberge’s deeply personal yet immediately resonant storytelling—an element he’s continually brought to O.A.R.’s music since the Maryland-bred band’s formation in 1996. Naming classic country troubadours among the main inspirations behind his solo shows, Roberge is now at work on a debut solo album that spotlights the more lyrically driven and folk-leaning side of his limitless musicality with a chance of special guests. ”   Support Act: Mary McAvoy   Not a Spectacle Live Member?
