POSITION SUMMARY
The Regional Production Manager position is primarily an event facing role and is crucial in ensuring the smooth execution of events at our Spectacle Live managed venues. Working closely with the Director of Production, the Regional Production Manager oversees all aspects of event and building production to ensure high-quality events and exceptional audience experiences.

This position requires extensive travel between Spectacle Live managed venues in Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Rhode Island.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Principal responsibilities of the Regional Production Manager are:
- Technical Production:
- Coordinate all technical aspects of assigned events, including sound, lighting, video, and staging, to meet the agreed to artistic and technical requirements of performers and event organizers. Supervise the setup, operation, and breakdown of sound, lighting, staging, and other technical equipment. Ensure all equipment is maintained and operates efficiently.
- Be prepared to take on roles such as audio engineer, lighting designer, or video technician for Spectacle Live events where you are not the assigned production manager. Work collaboratively alongside other full-time Spectacle Live production managers to ensure the successful execution of all technical aspects of the event.
- Production Staff Management: Supervise hired technical staff, including audio engineers, lighting technicians, stagehands, and other production crew members. Ensure all staff adhere to safety protocols and deliver high-quality work while fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Equipment knowledge and Inventory Management: Develop a working knowledge of all house sound, lighting and video systems at the Spectacle Live managed venues. Maintain an inventory of all production equipment, ensuring it is well-maintained, up-to-date, and available for use. Work with Director of Production to coordinate equipment rentals and purchases as needed.
- Advancing / Event Planning and Coordination: Work closely with event organizers, tour management and performers to understand their technical requirements and ensure these are met within the venue’s capabilities.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, including those related to technical equipment, rigging, and crowd management.
- Problem Solving: Quickly address any technical issues or challenges that arise during events, ensuring minimal disruption to the event and audience experience.
- Communication: Maintain open and clear communication with all stakeholders, including staff, artists, event organizers and venue management, to ensure everyone is informed and aligned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
– Proven experience as a Production Manager or similar role in a live performance venue, preferably with experience in concert production.
– Strong technical knowledge of sound, lighting, video, and staging equipment.
– Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
– Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
– Bachelor’s degree in technical theater, production management, or a related field is preferred.
– Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move heavy equipment. Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
